Central European Informatics Olympiad 2024 took place 23-29 June in Brno, Czech Republic. 56 participants from 13 countries took part in the Olympiad.

The Ukrainian national team won one silver medal and three bronze medals:


🥈 Andrii Smutchak, a student of the 11th grade of the Kyiv Natural Science Lyceum No. 145 (coach - Andriy Popyk), won a silver medal;

🥉 Illia Permiakov, a student of the 11th grade of the Kharkiv Academic Lyceum No. 45 (coaches - Valentin Melnyk and Mykola Arzubov), won a bronze medal;

🥉 Ihnat Zharikhin, a student of the 11th grade of the Kharkiv Academic Lyceum No. 45 (coaches - Valentin Melnyk and Mykola Arzubov), won a bronze medal;

🥉 Denys Tereshchenko, a student of the 11th grade of the "Optima Education Center" LLC (coach - Valentin Melnyk), won a bronze medal.

Ukrainians representing other countries also took part in the Olympiad:


🥈 Maksym Shvedchenko (Germany) won a silver medal;

🍀 Uliana Malaniak (Austria).


The team leaders were Sofiia Hohol and Bohdan Feisa. Participation in the Olympiad is sponsored by Citadel.
