The Federation of Olympiad Programming runs the Ukrainian Olympiads in Informatics and sends Ukraine’s teams to international competitions. That costs money, and some of it comes from people.

The 2026/2027 olympiad season

We are raising money for the 2026/2027 olympiad season — for everything it takes to have Ukrainian school students compete in informatics at home and represent Ukraine abroad.

What the season covers:

  • The final of the Ukrainian Junior and Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics — around a hundred people over five days: accommodation, meals, transport, medals and trophies.
  • Team selection camps — two seven-day sessions, where the teams for the international olympiads are chosen.
  • Sending the teams to international olympiads — IOI, EJOI, EGOI, CEOI, BalkOI, JBOI and BaltOI: flights, registration fees and team kit.
  • Running the Ukrainian Olympiad in Informatics — the judging server, preparing the problems for every stage, and the awards.
  • Training camps ahead of specific olympiads.

How much is needed, and by when

The season needs approximately 4,500,000 hryvnias.

The timeline is September 2026 to August 2027 — one academic season, from the school stages in the autumn to the last international olympiad the following summer.

This is an estimate, not an invoice. Partners of the Federation cover part of the season, and the more we raise the less has to be cut — first of all the number of participants we can bring to the in-person stages.

What happens to anything left over

If money is left unspent at the end of the season, or one of the events does not go ahead, it carries over to the next season of the same programme — the informatics olympiads and Ukraine’s teams. We do not return it and we do not spend it on anything else for as long as that programme exists.

If the programme itself ends, or the collection stops being relevant, the money goes to other statutory activities of the Federation.

Terms of a donation

By donating you agree to two things. They are written out here rather than linked to, because they are about your money:

  • A donation is non-refundable.
  • You consent to the money being redistributed: if the collection is closed or stops being relevant, your donation may be used in other projects of the Federation, on the terms described above.

Donating is voluntary, there is no minimum, and nothing here sets up a subscription: every payment is separate and one-off.

How it works

The button above opens a LiqPay payment page — LiqPay is PrivatBank’s service. The payment happens on LiqPay’s side, and this site neither sees nor stores your card details. The recipient is shown as ГО «Федерація олімпіадного програмування», which you can check on the payment page itself before paying.
