International Olympiad 2023
The International Olympiad in Informatics was held in Szeged, Hungary, from 28 August to 4 September. 351 participants from 87 countries took part in the olympiad.
The Ukrainian team received 4 medals:
- Andrii Stolitnii, a graduate of the “Polit” Science Lyceum at the Regional College “Kremenchuk Humanities and Technology Academy named after A. S. Makarenko” of the Poltava Regional Council, finished 68th and received a silver medal (coach — Valentyn Melnyk);
- Andrii Smutchak, an 11th-grade student of Natural Sciences Lyceum No. 145 of the Pechersk district of Kyiv, finished 72nd and took a silver medal (coach — Andrii Popyk);
- Alisa Potomkina, an 11th-grade student of the “Akademiia” Gymnasium in Kyiv, finished 77th and received a silver medal (coach — Valentyn Melnyk);
- Daryna Karpenko, a graduate of Khmelnytskyi Gymnasium No. 1, finished 93rd and received a bronze medal (coach — Andrii Popyk).
The team leaders were Anton Tsypko and Andrii Pankov.
