The Balkan Olympiad in Informatics 2024 was held in Ohrid (North Macedonia) from September 20 to 26. 62 participants from 15 countries took part in the Olympiad.

Team Ukraine consisted of:

🥇 Maksym Shvedchenko, 10th grade student of the Kharkiv Academic Lyceum No. 45 (coaches - Valentyn Melnyk, Andriy Popyk, Mykola Arzubov and Maryna Gladkikh), won a gold medal;

🥈 Valerii Kovnatskyi, 11th grade student of the Author's School Boyka (coaches - Valentyn Melnyk, Andriy Popyk and Oleksandr Mitsa), won a silver medal;

📜 Daria Perekopska, 10th grade student of the Dnipro Lyceum of Information Technologies (coach - Valentyn Melnyk), received an honorable mention;

🍀 Kyrylo Redenskyi, 11th grade student of the Kyiv specialized school No. 200 (coach - Valentyn Melnyk).

The team leaders were Vladyslav Nechyporuk and Maryna Nadtochiy. The trip was organized by the Ukrainian Federation of Olympiad Programming. The trip was sponsored by Citadel.
