UJGOI 2024

The Ukrainian Junior Olympiad in Informatics and the Ukrainian Girls' Olympiad in Informatics were held in Kraków on 18–22 April.

The olympiad brought together the 32 best girls and the 33 best juniors from Ukraine. All of them competed in three online selection rounds to reach it.

The participation of representatives from Poland, out of competition, has become a good tradition. This year 4 participants of the Junior Olympiad and 4 of the Girls' Olympiad in Informatics took part.

The best participants will have the chance to compete for the right to represent Ukraine at the European olympiads.

The Ukrainian Girls' Olympiad was won by a 9th-grade student of the “Optima” Education Centre, Daria Lobas.

The Ukrainian Junior Olympiad was won by a 9th-grade student of Kharkiv Academic Lyceum No. 45, Maksym Shvedchenko.

Also in the top three overall was a 9th-grade student of Vinnytsia Physics and Mathematics Lyceum No. 17, Kseniia Strelbytska.

The olympiad was organised by the Federation of Olympiad Programming together with the Jagiellonian University.
