Ukrainian Junior and Girls' Olympiads in Informatics
Since 2021, the Ukrainian Junior Olympiad in Informatics and the Ukrainian Girls' Olympiad in Informatics have been held every year.
These two Olympiads are held simultaneously on the same set of tasks. The best participants are invited to the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics and the European Girls' Olympiad in Informatics.
All schoolchildren of Ukraine (both boys and girls) who were under 15 years old on December 31 of the current academic year can take part in the Junior Olympiad. All girls studying at school can take part in the Girls' Olympiad.
Each year there are three selection rounds, which are conducted online with proctoring. In each round, the best 10 participants in each nomination enter the final stage. Also, the best 8 participants of the Ukrainian Olympiad in Informatics, who fall under the limitations of the Olympiad, will enter the final stage.
The final stage of the Olympiad takes place face-to-face and consists of two rounds. The best participants receive diplomas, and the winner receives a cup.
The best 12 participants in each nomination go to the Selection Camp, which determines the teams for the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics and the European Girls' Olympiad in Informatics.
