Junior Balkan Olympiad 2022
The Junior Balkan Olympiad in Informatics was held in the Romanian city of Dorohoi from the 29th of August to the 3rd of September. 47 participants from 11 countries took part in the olympiad. The Ukrainian team achieved the following results:
- Andrii Smutchak, a 10th-grade student of Kyiv Natural Sciences Lyceum No. 145, finished second and received a gold medal.
- Alisa Potomkina, a 10th-grade student of the Kyiv “Akademiia” Gymnasium, finished fourth and received a gold medal.
- Nazar Huz, a 10th-grade student of Kremenchuk Lyceum “Polit”, finished fifth and received a gold medal.
- Pavlo Hrynevych, a 10th-grade student of the Ukrainian Physics and Mathematics Lyceum, finished 14th and received a silver medal.
