Girls' Olympiad 2022
The Ukrainian team won the European Girls' Olympiad in Informatics 2022!
The olympiad was held from the 16th to the 23rd of October 2022 in Antalya, Turkey. 155 contestants from 42 countries took part in the olympiad.
The Ukrainian team won three gold medals and one bronze — the best result of any participating country. The team consisted of:
- Alisa Potomkina, a 10th-grade student of the Kyiv “Akademiia” Gymnasium, won a gold medal, finishing 2nd (coach — V. I. Melnyk).
- Daryna Karpenko, an 11th-grade student of Khmelnytskyi Gymnasium No. 1, won a gold medal, finishing 4th (coach — A. V. Popyk).
- Yuliia Tatarinova, a graduate of Kremenchuk Lyceum “Polit”, won a gold medal, finishing 8th (coach — V. I. Melnyk).
- Uliana Malaniak, an 11th-grade student of the International School of Linz (Austria) and of the “Optima” distance school, won a bronze medal, finishing 27th (coach — A. V. Popyk).
The team leaders were Serhii Zhukovskyi and Andrii Fylypiuk. The trip was organised by the Federation of Olympiad Programming. It was fully sponsored by Citadel LLC.
