Baltic Olympiad in Informatics

The Baltic Olympiad in Informatics (BOI) is an annual informatics olympiad for the countries of Northern Europe: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland and Sweden.

The first edition was held in Tartu, Estonia, in 1995; it has run every spring since, hosted in turn by the participating countries — in 2026 in Espoo, Finland.

Unlike every other international olympiad, each country fields six contestants rather than four. Ukraine takes part as a guest country: the six best contestants of the final stage of the Ukrainian Olympiad in Informatics are invited.
